⚖️ If things go wrong
If the LA refuses to assess, issues a plan you disagree with, or misses deadlines — you have the right to appeal to the SEND Tribunal.
You must obtain a mediation certificate before appealing to the SEND Tribunal (except for appeals about school placement). Keep records of every conversation with the LA — dates, names, and what was said.
