AwarePy Robotics

Real hardware, real wiring, real code. Eight progressive projects on the Raspberry Pi Pico W using MicroPython — from your first LED to a simple obstacle-avoiding robot.

⚠ Before you start: these projects use real electronic components and a Raspberry Pi Pico W. Set up Thonny IDE on your computer first and flash MicroPython onto your Pico W. Always disconnect power before changing any wiring.

These projects build on each other — each one introduces a new component or idea while reusing skills from the last. Start with the LED even if you've done electronics before, since Project 8 (Simple Robot) combines almost everything from Projects 1 to 7 into one build. Every project includes a parts list, wiring diagram, full MicroPython code ready to copy into Thonny, test steps and the mistakes people make most often.
